DAY 50 - CHRISTMAS IN OZ

We headed off to Cousin Terry's in the late afternoon, the car ladened with delicious smelling foods. The girls decided they wanted to wear their matching ballet dresses for the event. Now they've stopped their dance classes they don't really get an opportunity to wear them anymore. At Terry's, Ayla and Kyra rushed to give him the present they had bought him.

                                                               "Drogo" the gnome!

Then Terry and his daughter Sara kindly gave them an abundance of books and pens for Christmas.

Later when Terry's daughter Bernadette and her partner Rodney arrived we all sat down at a long table to a feast of dishes we had all made.

The next day we drove back to the caravan to find that Santa had visited during the night guided by our K Mart solar flashing festive lights. He somehow managed to squeeze some presents for the girls under our miniature tree.

In the afternoon we drove off to Leschenaultia lake for a swim as very hot today but unfortunately Ayla had left her nice scooter in front of the car and I drove over it which didn't go down too well! Luckily we found a company in the UK who do spare parts for it and a friend will post these out to us soon.
