OUR TIME IN ALBANY - APRIL TO JUNE 2015

So we are resurrecting the blog so that family and friends can see what we have been up to and for the children to look back on when they are older.
Well we ended up staying in Albany almost 5 months! When we arrived we thought maybe we would be there a week so that felt odd. I found work with my first phone call supporting a young man with disabilities which was a great job with lots of quad biking ,walks and even a holiday. So here are a selection of some of our favourite pictures from in and around Albany. Albany is right down on the south west coast of Australia with a mild climate compared to a lot of Australia.

These 2 photos above are of Little beach which was our favourite beach in a national park about 25kms from Albany. Stunning sea colours and a pure white beach. The water though was a little chilly to say the least!

The girls in their "monkey cinema" fighting and saving the world at the same time! It's called the "monkey cinema" because it has a pull across screen with monkey patterns and a tv to watch DVDs in the evening.

The 3 photos above are of Waterfall beach next to Little beach which was equally as stunning. Stef getting bigger with the impending birth of Toby approaching.

Happy Days Caravan park where we lived for 4 and a half months and where Toby started his life. We had a great spot with a big lawn in front of the caravan for the girls to play on. Photo above is of the girls saying yet another goodbye, this time to their friend Amy.

My co worker Jacob visiting with his wife Beth and their baby Solomon.

A bouncy castle was put up at Happy Days for the Easter holidays which the girls loved.

The Due South pub and restaurant we used to go to all the time for great coffee and sometimes a treat of fresh oysters. Mmmmmm,

Easter hunt by the Albany wind farm. I couldn't find my chocolate bunny I hid it so well. Spent          forever looking for it and even went back to have another look! Chocolate addiction!

An old deserted house on one of our favourite walks from Middleton beach to Albany centre

Above are pictures of the beautiful Point Possession heritage trail across the bay from Albany centre.

Toby looking nervous between his 2 noisy sisters!

                                                          Mount Martin botanic park.

Getting chillier now as winter draws near and here we are having dinner in the camp kitchen with the fire lit behind us.

Getting ready to go out and looking stunning!

Fun and games in the caravan.

Ayla and Kyra's school project collecting seeds.

After all that time in damp Albany, as we get ready to leave, cleaning the mould off the caravan roof.

Climbing Mount Trio in the Sterling Range. 856 metres high.

So after nearly 5 months living at Happy Days Caravan park we finally hook up and head off on our next adventure.

Saying goodbye to my co worker Jacob and his family at the library.
