PERTH TO BUSSELTON - NEARING THE END OF OUR JOURNEY - 1 JANUARY 2016 - 5 FEBRUARY 2016

Straight after New Year's Eve we left Perth and drove down south to a small inland town called Collie to be near the Bunbury/Busselton area where we couldn't stay because the caravan parks there were full up. However Collie's caravan park was almost empty and very quiet. So we used Collie as our base to explore the area and start looking for where exactly we wanted to settle down as we were still not entirely sure.

Near Collie is Wellington national park where we would go to have fun in the rushing cool waters below the dam there.

Toby enjoying a night out at De Orion cafe in Collie for some lovely Thai food.

We started to explore the area and south of Collie is Cape Naturalist national park which has some stunning beaches. This is near the towns of Dunsborough  and Busselton and slowly we started to find ourselves attracted to this area.

The view from the top of the peninsular.

Educational DVD night in the caravan. Toby now allowed to join in watching with his sisters.

Meeting up with old friends from New Zealand at Yallingup near Cape Naturalist.

Lottie one of Ayla's best friends from Montessori in New Zealand. Great for them to catch up. It has been hard for the girls leaving all their friends behind.

Kyra has been put on a drip by these beach nurses!

Dusk settles upon us on this warm sultry night by Busselton jetty. Starting to fall in love with this area.

Our new inflatable kayak which is surprisingly stable and fun!

    Toby on Bunbury town beach.

Australia day in Bunbury at the Skyfest event with giant bubbles......

   .........mermaids.............

       .....................train rides....................

       ...................and live music.

Farewell to our friends from New Zealand. We had now moved to Australind Tourist Park where we stayed for a few weeks as I searched for jobs and we looked for a house and also a school for the girls.

A visit to Gnomesville near Bunbury. An area in the woods covered in gnomes.

Back to Wellington National Park to try out our inflatable kayak on the river there. On this day we were waiting to find out if I would get the job I wanted and also the house we had applied for. And by the end of the day we had both! Our trip is coming to an end.
