AYLA'S BIRTHDAY IN CARNARVON - 17 SEPTEMBER 2015

Our beautiful girl Ayla turned 6 in Carnarvon

First it was present opening time in bed starting with the clown outfit that was on her wish list.

Steffi had decorated the caravan for the occasion.

Birthday breakfast of crumpets and the girls decided on ballet dresses for the day's events.

After breakfast we went to visit Carnarvon space museum.

The girls dressed up in Nasa spacesuits and then we went in a space capsule simulator which was quite realistic and Kyra still believes we actually went to the moon!

Lunch of pancakes and syrup and fries for me. All very unhealthy!

In the afternoon we took the steam train along the Carnarvon one mile jetty which creaked and groaned and looked worryingly frail! Quite a few missing planks too.

Family photo in front of the "Coffee pot" train near the end of the jetty.

Back to the caravan park for a refreshing dip in the pool.

Birthday dinner of prawn cocktail from the 500 grams of fresh prawns we bought earlier.

We finished off a lovely day with a smarty cake and sparklers to wave around in the starlit night.
