HAMMERSLEY GORGE - 3rd NOVEMBER 2015

Whilst staying at the Paraburdoo campground we had to drive 80 kms to the next town of Tom Price to get a new tyre and so we made the most of this trip and visited Hammersley gorge about 50kms further past Tom Price.

The dusty road from Tom Price to the gorge.

The view from the car park down into the gorge.

At the bottom of the steep descent were the cool waters nestled deep within the gorge. Perfect for a refreshing dip away from the surrounding high temperatures.

To the left away from the waterfalls was this narrow channel of water we swam along, the steep gorge cliffs rising above us.

Ayla and Kyra making there way though the gorge like a couple of mermaids!

Toby meanwhile takes a break on Daddy's 4x picnic blanket!

To the right a series of waterfalls take you up to the famous spa pool.

The deep eerie spa pool surrounded by smooth concave sides.

Here you can really see the forces of nature as the rocks get squeezed together.
